In my opinion, traditional puppets of each country can serve as ambassadors of that country in other parts of the world—ambassadors of culture, peace, patience, and expertise. Therefore, in 2012, I decided to create and donate a number of traditional Iranian puppets (Kheimeh Shab Bazi puppets) to the Topik Museum in Toulouse, Spain, with the collaboration of Fatemeh Abbasi. Now, for many years, Mobarak (the main character of Kheimeh) along with a few other inhabitants of the Kheimeh have been serving as Iranian ambassadors in Spain.
